UNASTORY
Growing up in a design conscious family in Denmark, Michel naturally learned the trade from his father who had successfully built his signature furniture company into the largest importer of rattan and bamboo into Scandinavia.
Following a stellar career in finance and investment banking in both London and Australia, Ako was looking for a new challenge and an adventure that spoke to his soul.
On the sunkissed streets of Bali, Michel had been expanding his businesses and was considering bringing a partner into the fold. With a passion for life and an eagerness to build a legacy, Ako stepped into the role of CEO with ease and grace.
The unalome symbol represents the path to enlightenment in the Buddhist culture. It speaks to our challenges in life, and how we can find harmony amongst them.
The Unalome craft mimics the same process.
